I'm Davis, a security engineer in San Francisco finishing my degree at SF State while working in the field. My focus is access: who gets into a system, and what they can do once they're there. Four years in IT operations, most recently at Okta. Next is detection and response, where the same question gets asked after the fact.

A working web services business — not a demo. Sites, DNS and email infrastructure, an AI lead-qualification agent, and a client onboarding pipeline, all built and operated solo.
Reading practice that listens back
A reading and maths app I built for my eight-year-old brother. He reads a sentence out loud, the browser grades it word by word, and the whole family sees how it went. A silika is the Luhya communal work party — the neighbours who turn out to finish one family's work before moving to the next.
Community running platform built for engagement and growth
Full-stack community platform with real-time data and a mobile-first build — events, membership, and the engagement loops that keep a running club active.
GPS and motion telemetry on an animal, proven end to end
An IoT collar: an ESP32 orchestrating a SIM808 for GPS and cellular, an MPU6050 for motion, publishing over MQTT to a cloud backend and surfacing in a Flutter app. Prototyped for pets, now being extended toward livestock with a team of engineers in Kenya.
Educational operations at coordinated scale
Operational infrastructure coordinating 150+ academic mentors across 2,400+ completed learning modules — compliance SOPs, delivery workflows, and automated communications.
